My Journey & Experience
I graduated from RVCAS in 1992, worked for a Dutch firm with my computer’s background. This was the time I realised I was not meant for a desk job and sought adventure. I joined the first batch of women pilots in the Indian Airforce and served the nation for 10years. After my career in IAF I worked for commercial airlines like Kingfisher, Airasia India and am currently a Senior Commander at Airindia.

Family Details:
I come from a middle class working family. My father was an engineer and my mother chose to be a homemaker to raise her 3 daughters and a good home. Education was all that mattered and what my parents worked hard to ensure we got it. The looked for good reputed institutions for us to study which led me to RVSCAS and Prof Arunachalam for my graduation.
Message for the Professor
I was a small town girl with bring dreams and no major financial means to achieve it. Being at the right place at the right time really helped me achieve what I aspired for. There were the right kind of people who have helped, guided and showed confidence in me through this journey. I owe a lot to my parents and my teachers
